Maple syrup
Maple syrup is produced in the winter months. Were we live the sugar season is usually January and February. Setup is in December, cleanup in March.
Honey
We harvest honey in the summer months. Usually middle of June. That gives the honeybees the rest of the summer and fall to build their stores up for winter. The bees have exclusive use to the bottom 3 boxes. We take some honey from boxes above that.
